Dear Family and Friends,
Sareana is safely out of
surgery and recovering well. Unfortunately, the initial pathology
indicates that the growth is a recurrence of medulloblastoma (the same malignant
tumor she's had in the past). They were able to remove the entire tumor
("total resection"), and we are thankful that the surgery went smoothly.
She's mentally sharp, and we will keep our focus on a strong recovery.
It will be a couple of weeks before we get final pathology results, and
we'll have more information after that.
I'm thankful to all of you for keeping her spirit full and reminding us all of the love that surrounds her and her family.
